Michael Andreaus is an American musical theatre actor best known for his portrayal of 'Coalhouse Walker, Jr.' in Theatre Aspen's RAGTIME.Born in Atlanta, Michael began studying at a young age before earning his Bachelor of Music from the University of Central Oklahoma. He has performed at regional theaters around the country, including Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.
Michael recently appeared in Ava DuVernay's "WHEN THEY SEE US" (Netflix) and LOVE AND YOGURT Off-Broadway. Other credits include SONGS OF FIRE AND ICE (54 Below), ROCK OF AGES ('Ja'Keith' / 'Mayor'), DREAMGIRLS ('Curtis Taylor, Jr.'), THE 20TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE ('Mitch Mahoney'), and NYMF's SAVAGE. Recent developmental readings include VALENTINO (dir. Chet Walker) and DREAM (dir. Terry Berliner).
He currently resides in New York City and is represented by Headline Talent Agency and Prevail Artist Management. He appears in A SOLDIER'S PLAY on Broadway through March 2020.
