Today, Camp Broadway and the United Nations Foundation's Nothing But Nets campaign are promoting World Malaria Day on Friday, April 25, 2014 by encouraging performing arts-loving kids to take action and raise awareness about the global fight against malaria with the 'Camp Broadway CHALLENGE for Nothing But Nets.' This national arts-in-action initiative invites talented youths, ages 10-17, to create an original work of art themed around Nothing But Nets' mission to 'Send a Net. Save a Life.' Kids are asked to create, produce and share a video featuring their original song, dance, music composition or prop by posting it in the Camp Broadway Challenge showcase atwww.NothingButNetsChallenge.net. Two youth artists whose videos receive the most votes will be announced on Thursday, May 15 -- and will be awarded a trip to New York City to attend The Lion King and Camp Broadway's coveted annual summer session, July 14-18, 2014.

Camp Broadway Announces Its Summer 2013 Session at University of Florida Performing Arts' Phillips Center

Camp Broadway, a nationally recognized performing arts camp for kids, has added Gainesville, Fla. to its list of 2013 summer sessions (http://www.campbroadway.com/). The Phillips Center will host the program from July 29 to Aug. 2. Camp Broadway is open to kids aged 10 to 17 who have an interest in any aspect of theater. The purpose of the program is to provide a safe, supportive environment for kids to explore the performing arts. The camp is open to all skill levels; no prior experience is required.
