Off-Broadway, Maggie Bera won the BroadwayWorld Award - Best Performance In A Musical for originating the role of Karen in Powerline Road with Theatre Now. She also appeared in The Baker’s Wife at Theatre Row NYC (working alongside original composer Stephen Schwartz) and originated the role of Ruby in Helen on 86th St. at the Chernuchin Theatre. Regionally, she played Tammy in Escape to Margaritaville at The Engeman Theater and Ivoryton Playhouse, Aquata, u/s Ariel in The Little Mermaid and u/s Christine Daae in Phantom at the Fireside Theatre, as Lucy Van Pelt in The World According to Snoopy at Theatre Under The Stars choreographed by Adam Cates (Gentleman's Guide, Anastasia), Les Miserables at Connecticut Repertory Theatre directed by Broadway legend and Tony nominated Terrence Mann, and as Wendy in Peter Pan. She has appeared in numerous television, print and radio ads. Maggie can also be heard on Joriah Kwame’s soundtrack to TAPES: A Song Cycle, a charity project inspired by Jay Asher's critically acclaimed novel 13 Reasons Why. She also voiced the role of Jane in Lady Jane’s Radio Takeover on the new musical podcast, One Million Musicals.
