Young People's Theatre will present its holiday production – a fresh and humorous adaptation of Snow White by Greg Banks, directed by Aurora Browne (co-creator and star of CBC's Baroness von Sketch Show) in its Canadian premiere. Nudging the classic toward a more timely interpretation, this clever twist is a two-actor take on the beloved fairy tale that is fun for the whole family. Snow White is presented on the Ada Slaight Stage Nov. 21, 2022 – Jan. 7, 2023.
ESCAPE FROM COTTAGE WOODS Debuts June 29 At Open-Door Playhouse
In the short play Escape from Cottage Woods, Macie, 94, is a longtime resident of a retirement community in a bucolic setting in North Carolina. Lily, her daughter, believes that Macie is being overmedicated into a compliant, zombified state by the establishment's staff. Macie and Lily have some unresolved mother-daughter issues.

Davis and directed by Lee Sankowich. THE SPANISH PRAYER BOOK will preview on Tuesday, September 17; Wednesday, September 18 & Thursday, September 19 at 8pm; will open on Friday, September 20 at 8pm and run through Sunday, November 23 at the Road Theatre on Magnolia, located in The NoHo Senior Arts Colony, 10747 Magnolia Blvd. in North Hollywood.
Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest Returns To Rogers Park This August
The popular Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) returns to Rogers Park for its 18th year on August 17-18, 2019, bringing more than 120 artists and two outdoor music stages to the Glenwood Avenue Arts District, steps from the Morse Red Line 'L' stop at 6900-7000 N. Glenwood Avenue and 1300-1500 W. Morse Avenue. Admission is free to the public. The Fest includes an art fair, live entertainment with more than 30 acts, kids' artmaking activities, food and drinks from local restaurants, and live demonstrations of performance art and artmaking. A list of highlighted artists can be found below.

Theatre Actorvist's & Chef Hunter Come Together For Anti-Lunch Shaming Event
Debrianna Mansini brings her Italian brand of actorvism to LA 's Hollywood Fringe Festival. "Actorvist" Debrianna Mansini (Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad) will be in Los Angeles in June to perform the LA Premiere of The Meatball Chronicles as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. But the show alone is not enough for Mansini- she will also use the opportunity to advocate for those who need an extra voice. She will be working to raise awareness for New Mexico congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham's Bipartisan Anti-Lunch Shaming bill HR 2401and Senator Tom Udall's senate Anti-Lunch Shaming Act, S.1064.
