Josh Segarra

Josh Segarra is an actor whose credits span television, film, theater, and video games. His television work includes The Electric Company (2009–2011), where he portrayed Hector Ruiz in a main role on the PBS Kids Go series. He later appeared in Homeland (2011), Bronx Warrants (2012), The Following (2013), and Blue Bloods (2014).

Segarra originated the role of Mick in Lysistrata Jones, appearing at The Gym at Judson before the musical transferred to Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre for the 2011–2012 season. His additional early stage credits include The Boys Upstairs (2009) at the SoHo Playhouse as part of the 13th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, Fat Camp (2009) at the Acorn Theater as part of the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival, Pool Boy (2010), a staged reading at Barrington Stage Company, and The Cook's Tour (2011), a staged reading at Urban Stage Theater. In 2012, he portrayed Boland in the Off-Broadway production of Dogfight at the Tony Kiser Theatre, directed by Joe Mantello. He played Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days (2013) at YOW! Theater.

On television, Segarra portrayed Billy Cepeda in the comedy series Sirens (2014–2015), initially as a recurring cast member before becoming a series regular in the second season. He also played Justin Voight in the recurring role of Chicago P.D. (2014–2016). His television film credits include Vampire Bats (2005), as Miles; A Bronx Life (2016), as Frankie; and Run for Your Life (2018), as Julian Silva. His other television credits include Drama Queenz (2008), Homeland (2011), Bronx Warrants (2012), The Following (2013), Blue Bloods (2014), and All In (2018), in which he appeared as himself in a live appearance.

Segarra originated the role of Emilio Estefan in the Broadway musical On Your Feet!, which opened at the Marquis Theatre in 2015. He performed in the production through July 10, 2016, and also appeared in the 2015 comedy film Trainwreck as Staten Island Oli. His film credits include The Narrows (2008), as White Gangsta; Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet (2009), as Tyler; The Ministers (2009), as Louis; The Music Never Stopped (2011), as Mark Ferris; You Must Be Joking (2014), as Asshole; and Overboard (2018), as Jason.

Following his work on Chicago P.D., Segarra joined the cast of the superhero television series Arrow for its fifth season in 2016, portraying Adrian Chase, Prometheus, and Simon Morrison. He appeared as a main cast member during season five and returned as a guest star in seasons six and eight, with the series credit spanning 2016–2019. His television credits during this period also include The Good Cop (2018), as Warren; Orange Is the New Black (2018–2019), as Danilo Stefanovic; and God Friended Me (2019), as Austin.

From 2019 to 2023, Segarra appeared in The Other Two as Lance Arroyo, serving as a recurring cast member during seasons one and two before joining the main cast in season three. He also portrayed Marco in The Moodys (2019–2021). In 2020, he starred in the Netflix comedy series AJ and the Queen as Hector Ramirez and Damien Sanchez, appeared as Mateo Lopez in two episodes of Katy Keene, and played Nestor Vertiz in the recurring role of FBI (2020–2021). His film credits from the same year include Christmas on the Square, in which he portrayed Pastor Christian Hathaway.

Segarra appeared in the Disney+ superhero series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) as Augustus "Pug" Pugliese, with five episodes in the miniseries. His subsequent television credits include Heels (2023), as Brooks Rizzo; The Big Door Prize (2023–2024), as Giorgio; Laid (2024), as Jeffrey; and Abbott Elementary (2024–2025), as Manny Rivera. In 2025–2026, he portrayed Parker in Animal Control and Raymond in Sirens (2025). His 2026 television credit includes Best Medicine, in which he plays Sheriff Mark Mylow.

His film credits include Scream VI (2023), in which he portrayed Danny Brackett; Friendship (2024), as Devon; The Threesome (2025), as Kevin; and Roommates (2026), as Goose. He is also credited in an untitled Stephen Merchant film, which is listed as filming.

Segarra's video game credits include Red Dead Redemption (2010), in which he voiced Abraham Reyes, and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare (2010). He also appeared in Grand Theft Auto V (2013) as The Local Population.
