BIO
Jazmine Stewart is an artist of Jamaican descent, born in New York. She began her training as an actor at The Professional Performing Arts High School. She was also a member of MCC Theater's Youth Company where her passion for acting was cultivated. She later attended Rutgers BFA Acting conservatory. During her studies, she was able to travel to Shakespeares Globe in London to further craft her skills. Since graduating, she has performed in regional and Off- Broadway productions. She made her debut to the stage in Kenny Leon's Much Ado About Nothing at The Public Theater. Her regional performances include One More Lady in Citrus by Celeste Jennings at Northern Stage. She also took part in a production of Henry IV Part One as Poins at the Folger Theater. Not only is she passionate about the stage, she made her on screen debut as a series regular in the TV series, Long Slow Exhale.
