Obie Award-winning writer & performer Alex Edelman is making his Broadway debut with his award-winning solo show JUST FOR US. Parade is back on Broadway! The revival, starring Tony Award winner Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond, directed by two-time Tony nominee Michael Arden, opened last night, March 16, at the Bernard B. A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York City since the shutdown began, opened just last night, September 27, with the strictly limited engagement set to run thought Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th Street).

Just last night, a slew of stars joined Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's celebration of The Mad Ones Lab- a free community-driven digital program created by Kait Kerrigan (she/her) and Brian Lowdermilk (she/they). The special event took place over the past month featuring workshops, panels, and unprecedented access to digital resources and the writers as participants created 78 digital 'shorts' of the cult hit musical, The Mad Ones.

As BroadwayWorld reported last night, Casting Society of America honored excellence in casting across feature films, television and theatre at the 35th Annual Artios Awards held on Thursday, January 30 at ceremonies in New York, Los Angeles, and London. The New York ceremony was hosted by Michelle Buteau at Stage 48, Ron Funches hosted in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton, and Jason Isaacs hosted in London at the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square.

Audible Inc., the world's largest producer and provider of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment, will begin performances this week of Is Anyone Alive Out There?, an original comedy musical at the Minetta Lane Theatre, which will also be recorded live for release as an Audible Original. The post-apocalyptic-set farce will run for four nights from March 21-24 at the company's creative home for live performances in New York. Each of the four performances will feature a surprise special guest appearance from either Chris Gethard (The Chris Gethard Show), Gilbert Gottfried (Gilbert), or Helene Yorke (The Other Two).

Manhattan Theatre Club's 2018-2019 season officially kicked off last night with the American premiere of The Nap, written by Olivier Award nominee Richard Bean and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Music Director Rob Berman. Grand Hotel, The Musical will run for seven performances at New York City Center from March 21 - 25. The Encores! at 25 season concludes with Me and My Girl (May 9 - 13). When Encores! decided to begin a search for the show's biggest fan from the original run- a woman who appeared in a commercial for the show in 1992- the internet came to the rescue.
