After traveling to Casper in early December to participate in the Wyoming State Thespian Festival for the first time in eight years, they reinstated their official Thespian Troupe status through the Educational Theatre Association, and now they are preparing to send a small group to the International Thespian Festival in Indiana in June. 

Sheridan High School Fall Drama Club presents a Showcase of Monologues, Scenes, and Songs for the Wyoming State Thespian Festival. Join them on November 16 & 17 at 7:00PM in the Sue Henry Auditorium to see their incredible work.

 WYO PLAY’s resident Young Theatre Makers Ensemble will present All in the Timing, David Ives’s collection of one-act plays August 10 thru 12 at 7pm in the Mars Black Box Theater at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center.

WYO PLAY, a program of the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center, is accepting applications from students to be involved in the Future Filmmakers Program in February and March. 

WYO PLAY and The Hub on Smith are teaming up again to offer two new Creative Aging classes! Registration is open to participants who are aged 55 years and up for a Voice Class with Amanda Patterson of Aspen Grove Music Studio and a spontaneous Storytelling Class with local author and storyteller David Sage.

The WYO Theater Performing Arts & Education Center has announced auditions for the Young Theatre Makers Ensemble, a program of WYO PLAY. WYO PLAY, launched in September 2020, is a series of extracurricular arts education programs that create safe and engaging environments for life-long learners to explore the theater arts.   

The WYO PLAY Middle School Drama Club is set to present ‘Uncle Shelby’s Poem Play’ at the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center on Friday, March 11th at 6pm. 

WYO PLAY, a program of the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center, is partnering with the Hub on Smith to provide two Creative Aging courses to community members aged 55+, free of charge, in February and March 2022. 

WYO PLAY, a program of the WYO Performing Arts & Education Center, will host an Info Session on Saturday, November 20th at 10AM for students to learn more about the Future Filmmakers and what it means to participate in the Program.

The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center, in collaboration with Tandem Productions, presents Frozen Jr. Wednesday June 16 thru Saturday June 19 at 7pm.  

The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center, in collaboration with Tandem Productions is excited to announce that the 2021 children's spring musical will be Frozen, Jr! Auditions for Frozen, Jr. will be held Friday, April 30th at 4:30pm and Saturday, May 1st at 10:00am at the WYO. Callbacks will then be held Saturday, May 1st from 2:00-4:00pm.

Beginning in April, ensemble members will meet every other Saturday morning to take part in masterclasses, scene studies, workshops, and play readings. During the Summer, ensemble members will gain experience both on and off stage through supporting the Children's Spring Musical and putting on their own Young Theatre Maker Ensemble production.   

Nodding to the unique holiday circumstances of 2020, the Civic Theatre Guild  will present “It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” set to live-stream into homes Dec. 11-13.
