Opera Maine invites you to the first production of its 29th season, Rocking Horse Winner by Gareth Williams and Anna Chatterton. Singers in the prestigious Studio Artist Program will be led by conductor Jackson McKinnon and director Richard Gammon in performances of the opera on July 5 and 7 at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center.

It was the wish to be able to linger for longer, that inspired Gareth Williams to embark on his latest musical adventure – Songs from the Last Page, a new original musical album of songs that lyrically reimagine the final moments from iconic works of Scottish fiction such as Treasure Island, Lanark and more.

Opera Maine presents a performance by Chinese-Australian soprano Yvette Keong on Sunday, May 7 at 4 p.m. at the Kennebunkport Land Trust.

Young People's Theatre (YPT) is excited to present the world premiere of A Million Billion Pieces - a moving story of love directed by one of Canada's most celebrated actors and directors, Philip Akin (Artistic Director, Obsidian Theatre). In this bold new production, two teens are isolated by a rare disease that could prove deadly if they make contact. Craving connection, they progress from flirty DMs to a precarious encounter, each with their own reason to test what it is to live a?' and love a?' like other people. It will be presented in the Studio from November 25 to December 13, 2019, for ages 13 and up.

Jazz singer Sarah Fenwick reunites with the brilliant guitarist Marinos Neofytou and bassist Costas Challoumas for a night of original and standard melodies from the great traditions of jazz and blues, at Technopolis 20 garden, on Saturday, 10th of August 2019, at 8:30pm. The group plays songs from the CD 'Jazz Origins' as well as familiar and well-loved songs from the American Songbook.
