BIO

Dharon Jones is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He will be making his Broadway Debut Winter 2019 in "West Side Story" playing the role of Action. He recently appeared in the first site-specific production of "Little Shop of Horrors" in Ithaca, New York, where he also attended Ithaca College. Other theatre credits include: A Leather Apron in "1776" Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Henry/Sniper in "Newsies" Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Television: Dancer in "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt". Film credits include: "Champions" (NYU short film) and "Saturday Church".

MCC Theater announced an additional extension for the World Premiere production of soft by Donja R. Love (one in two) and directed by Whitney White (On Sugarland). Audrey II is growing stronger! This anticipated staging taking place inside Bool's Flower Shop in Ithaca, NY has extended its run by three performances. Originally announced to run from April 24-28, the production will now play on April 29, May 1 and close May 2. After ten minutes of live ticket sales, the show sold out its' original six-performance run.

Opera Ithaca presents Rossini's comic masterpiece, Cinderella, May 12th thru 14th at the Hangar Theatre marking the 200th anniversary of the premiere of the opera. Norm Johnson directs with choreography by Tucker Davis and featuring the dance ensemble of the Tucker Davis Dance Company. Opera Ithaca Music Director, Richard Montgomery, conducts the orchestra in a reduced orchestration by Magnus Gilljam from London's touring production with English Pocket Opera.
