54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will again present a cast of Harvard and Yale grads and current students in The Eighth Annual Harvard-Yale Cantata: The Eras Tour. To celebrate the Eras, we are including writers and performers from the last eight decades. This show is a competition of Harvard alumni vs. Yale alumni, as performers and writers.
In honor of Pride, Jersey City Theater Center will present the Jersey City debut of the documentary Strength Through Visibility: 20 Years of Pride in Jersey City in partnership with Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival (Jersey City Pride) and a developmental reading of new musical entitled HEAVY HEAD. HEAVY HEAD: A Musical is a modern retelling of the Medusa Myth.
The Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced and hosted by John Znidarsic - continues its 2022 season on Monday, April 25th at 6PM. The free evening will spotlight the songs of the acclaimed writing team of Lauren Taslitz and Danny Ursetti - highlighting their new musical, Mimosa. This special concert will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center - 111 Amsterdam Avenue.
New York Theatre Barn will present concerts of work written by members of Tony Award-winning writer William Finn’s (Falsettos, Spelling Bee) first two virtual Master Classes in Lyric Writing. The non-profit theatre company that serves as a home for original culture shifting musicals during incubation will offer two free live stream presentations.

To mark the occasion of their now postponed Lincoln Center concert as part of the Broadway's Future Songbook Series, musical theater writers Lauren Taslitz and Danny Ursetti have released a music video for their song 'Built for Joy.'
In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 40 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2020 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 15 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre (KCRep), announced the full schedule for this season's popular Monday Night Playwright Series, which opened with BURIED ROOTS, its first play of the series, on Monday. The series features a line-up of new and returning playwrights including Michelle Tyrene Johnson, Darren Canady, James Still, Migdalia Cruz, Mashuq Mushtaq Deen and Ellen McLaughlin.
