Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has released family portraits of the Potters, the Granger-Weasleys and the Malfoys in advance of the new Company’s first performance on 13 October 2022.  

The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have announced new casting for who begin performances at London's Palace Theatre on 13 October 2022.  In addition, the original two-part multi award-winning production is now extending booking to 30 July 2023.

Follow the (fictional) Cornley Drama Society as they put on a 1920s murder mystery, 'The Murder at Haversham Manor'. As the title suggests, everything that can go wrong … does! As the accident prone thesps battle against all the odds to reach their final curtain call, hilarious results ensue!

Following three previously sold out tours, the production will open on Tuesday 13 July 2021 at Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury where it first premiered in 2014, before visiting Cheltenham, Bath, Salford, Nottingham, Eastbourne, Dartford, York, Woking, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Brighton and Aylesbury. Six months ago, I'd never heard of a play called Lipstick, nor had I imagined I'd be directing a four-week run at the Southwark Playhouse in March, but here we are - my directorial debut.

Today, 30 July 2018, on the eve of Harry Potter's birthday, the anniversary of the world premiere and the start of the third year for the London Production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre, the Producers announce further tickets to be released for sale on 18 September 2018, at 11 GMT, for performances from 10 April - 28 July 2019. Tickets are priced from £15 per part and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part.

The new West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began performances at the Palace Theatre in London's West End on 23 May 2018. Jamie Ballard plays Harry Potter, Susie Trayling plays Ginny Potter and Joe-Idris Roberts plays their son Albus Potter. Thomas Aldridge plays Ron Weasley with Nicola Alexis as Hermione Granger and Helen Aluko as their daughter Rose Granger Weasley. Playing Draco Malfoy is James Howard with Jonathan Case as his son Scorpius Malfoy.

A week after opening across the pond on Broadway, The Play That Goes Wrong today announces there will be a new cast at the Duchess Theatre from Wednesday 10 May 2017.
