Anderson Davis BIO

Anderson Davis recently played Lt. Joseph Cable in the national tour of the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific. He made his Broadway debut in the revival of Les Misérables, and his other New York credits include the New York City Center Encores! production of Damn Yankees, "Out of Our Heads" Songs of Kooman and Dimond at Birdland and “Become: The Songs of Pasek and Paul” at Joe’s Pub.

Regional Theater credits include: Tony in West Side Story at Portland Center Stage, Frederic in a new adaptation of Pirates of Penzance entitled Pirates! at the Huntington Theater in Boston, Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the Denver Center Theater, Benjamin in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at Pittsburgh Civc Light Opera, and Marius in Les Miserables at both Theater of the Stars in Atlanta and at Theatre Under the Stars in Houston. While at Theater of the Stars, he also starred as Troy Bolton in High School Musical 2.

Also appeared on the debut album of Michael Kooman and Chris Dimond, "Out of Our Heads". Now in L.A., he has joined the "For the Record" series including the Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, and Baz Luhrmann productions. Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Davis received a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University.

For The Record’s perennial holiday favorite Love Actually Live returned to The Wallis November 29, 2023. Commemorating the film’s 20th anniversary, Anderson Davis directs the cast of Tomasina Abate, Madison Taylor Baez, James Byous, Chris Cockrill, Audrey Cymone, Anthony Fedorov, Brayden Gleave, Grace Kinstler, Parissa Koo, Doug Kreeger, Austin Lesch, Ruby Lewis, Chris Mann, Jordan Ann Martone, Brian McKnight Jr., Darrell Morris Jr, Nina Nelson, Spencer Schaffe, Drew Seeley, Rex Smith, Alkaio Thiele and Cheyenne Isabel Wells. Broadway and television star Aaron Lazar (Fox’s Filthy Rich, Broadway’s The Last Ship, A Little Night Music, Les Misérables, and The Light in the Piazza) joins the exciting lineup of talented performers alongside singer/songwriter, musician, producer and engineer, Brian McKnight Jr., who comes from a legendary musically gifted family including famed father Brian McKnight. American Idol 4th place finalist on season 4, Anthony Fedorov, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist actor Michael Thomas Grant, and RCA recording artist Nina Nelson, member of girl group Citizen Queen (with over 30 million music video views), also join the cast for the first time.
