Following a seven-year hiatus from the music business, singer/songwriter Julie Neumark is back, this time as half of Whiskey Flower, a new Americana-pop duo she formed with bass guitar player, Holly Lucille. Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater will celebrate 15 years of Summer Classic Movies when the annual series begins June 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic 1925 auditorium. Enjoy classic movies in the beautifully restored historic theater Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. June through August. Tickets for each film are just $8 and are on sale now. Freeform has renewed breakout comedy “Single Drunk Female,” starring Sofia Black D’Elia and Ally Sheedy, for a second season. Additionally, the young adult brand ordered wanderlust dramedy “While You Were Breeding,” based on the memoir from Kristin Newman (“Only Murders in the Building”), to series.

CSC will host a one-night-only benefit staged reading of Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare, directed by Founding Artistic Director Steven Maler. This production will feature Christian Coulson (Harry Potter, The Hours, Mozart in the Jungle, Nashville) as Angelo and features a dynamic cast of the area’s extraordinary talent. 

In 1987, L.A. Theatre Works took the audio world by storm with a word-by-word recording of “Babbitt,” the seminal novel by Sinclair Lewis, starring Edward Asner in the title role and with a 33-member star-studded ensemble playing all the remaining parts.
