Allison Payne

Allison Payne is an award-winning artist from Olney, MD. Recently, Allison was awarded the award for Supporting Actor in a Female Role in a Musical at the 25th Annual Cappies Gala at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for her portrayal as Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown. Additionally, Allison was also named a semi-finalist at the Brandon Victor Dixon awards for her portrayal in this role. She previously trained and performed with Ovations Theatre, as well as Teen Angel Project, with additional performing arts training in voice, acting, and dance. Her credits include roles like Urinetown (Penelope Pennywise), Hadestown (Eurydice), The Phantom of the Opera (Christine Daae), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Jekyll and Hyde (Lucy Harris), among others. This fall, she will be attending Catholic University of America to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
