Alexis Gregory’s critically acclaimed Riot Act is heading on a UK tour following its successful outing on the West End at the Duchess Theatre, and online reimagining in February celebrating LGBT History Month 2022. 

A live stream on Monday night will present the cancer-inspired artistic creations of patients from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's VISIBLE INK program.

Alexis Gregory’s critically acclaimed production Riot Act returns in 2022 to celebrate LGBT History Month.  Direct from the West End and touring the UK, this online ‘reimagining’ has been created using interviews with a Stonewall survivor, a radical drag artist, and an AIDS activist.  This audience favourite solo show is filmed at the Hackney Empire and will be available to watch throughout February. 

Direct from the West End and two UK tours, Riot Act is a breathtaking, rip-roaring, white-knuckle ride through six decades of queer history. This tender and very personal show takes the audience on a journey from the 1960s Stonewall riots through the 1980s AIDS crisis to the present day. 

The stories will be popping up across London in a specially designed travelling venue, creating an intimate escape from the world outside. These semi-improvised micro-plays will engage the audience as a vital part of the narrative. Together, actor and audience will create unique playful interactions which celebrate the absurdity of human connection.

Following its acclaimed run at London's The Actors Centre, Declan, a play written and performed by Alistair Hall, is making its return for an exclusive online run. The YouTube streaming of the play is free to all and available until 9 May 2021.
