Shonn Wiley BIO
Shonn Wiley is a talented actor, singer, and dancer who has made a name for himself on Broadway and beyond. Born in Texas, he began his career as a child performer, appearing in productions of "The Music Man" and "Oliver!" before moving on to more challenging roles.
Wiley made his Broadway debut in the 2001 revival of "42nd Street," in which he played the role of Andy Lee. He went on to appear in a number of other Broadway shows, including "Dracula, the Musical," "The Pirate Queen," and "The Producers." In each of these productions, Wiley showcased his impressive singing and dancing skills, earning critical acclaim for his performances.
In addition to his work on Broadway, Wiley has also appeared in a number of television shows and films. He had a recurring role on the hit TV series "The Following," and has also appeared on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Boardwalk Empire," and "The Blacklist." On the big screen, he has appeared in films such as "The Greatest Showman" and "The Last Five Years."
Despite his success in these other mediums, Wiley has remained committed to the stage. He has continued to perform in regional theater productions across the country, including a critically acclaimed performance as Bobby in "Company" at the Barrington Stage Company.
In addition to his work as a performer, Wiley is also a talented writer and director. He wrote and directed the Off-Broadway musical "The Prince and the Pauper," which received rave reviews and was praised for its innovative staging and strong performances.
Wiley's success on stage and screen can be attributed in part to his dedication to his craft. He is known for his rigorous training regimen, which includes daily voice and dance lessons, as well as regular workouts and rehearsals. This commitment to excellence has earned him a reputation as one of the hardest-working performers in the industry.
Despite his busy schedule, Wiley remains committed to giving back to his community. He has been involved with a number of charitable organizations over the years, including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He has also worked with young performers, mentoring them and helping them to develop their skills and pursue their dreams.
Looking to the future, Wiley shows no signs of slowing down. He is currently working on a number of new projects, including a musical adaptation of the classic film "The Apartment." With his talent, dedication, and passion for the arts, there is no doubt that Shonn Wiley will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of entertainment for years to come.
