ANNE OF GREEN GABLES Comes to Orlando Rep

Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is beginning 2020 with an onstage adaptation of the beloved classic novel a?oeAnne of Green Gablesa?? by L.M. Montgomery. The stage play by the same name is reimagined by playwright R. N. Sandberg, and follows the story of young orphan Anne Shirley and the place in which she accidentally finds family, friends, and home. Anne of Green Gables opens to the public this Saturday, February 1 and runs through February 23 with performances on Saturdays and Sundays. This production is generously presented by Universal Orlando Foundation. Tickets are on sale now at orlandorep.com.
Orlando Fringe Uses 'Peace And Love' To Raise Funds

Orlando Fringe has announced they will be hosting their biggest fundraiser of the year on February 28 at the Orlando Museum of Art. The annual event entitled, Peace, Love, & Fringe: A Fab Fringe Fundraiser is billed as a 60's themed cabaret and party where event organizers are encouraging attendees to dress in their favorite mod look and boogie the night away for a good cause.
The Garden Theatre Has Announced Their 2020 - 2021 Season

At the opening of the 2019 - 2020 season production of Violet, Artistic Director Joseph C. Walsh announced the seven shows for Garden Theatre's 13th season. Current subscribers may renew their subscriptions immediately. New subscriptions begin at $90 and go on sale March 18. All tickets go on sale May 13.

The community has gathered in and around a garage in Orlando for two seasons of theater including over 40 ten minute performances since 2016. With a pinch more structure in 2020, producers Megan Markham and Mallory Vance hope that the third season will be the best yet.

To celebrate the completion of the Dr. Phillips Center in 2020, including the debut of Steinmetz Hall and the Green Room, officials today announced that the arts center's Fairwinds Broadway in Orlando 20/21 series will expand to 14 weeks and feature the return of Broadway musicals HAMILTON and WICKED. The entire series will be publicly unveiled Thursday, February 20, 2020.
