Virginia Children's Theatre Announces Year-Round Kaleidoscope Programming

Brett Roden, Producing Artistic Director of Virginia Children's Theatre, announced today that the theatre plans to offer CLUB K as an Academy class year-round, modeled after their summer Kaleidoscope program. CLUB K is a multi-disciplinary, inclusive arts program offered to students with a range of developmental disabilities to train them in all aspects of arts education. The first installment of CLUB K will be offered on Mondays virtually during VCT's Winter 2021 Academy, beginning on January 25, 2021.

Richmond Triangle Players continues its season with the Virginia premiere of Harrison David River's This Bitter Earth, an acclaimed new play that has earned rave reviews across the country. The production will open Friday, January 29, 2021 after a low-priced preview on Thursday January 28. The production will run through February 13, and will have an online option available as well.

Firehouse Theatre has announced that it has added Anna Deavere Smith’s groundbreaking FIRES IN THE MIRROR to its SEASON OF DISCOVERY. The solo performance features Jamar Jones and is directed by Katrinah Carol Lewis. FIRES IN THE MIRROR will open on Friday, March 26 and run through Sunday, April 25, 2021.
