Alexandria Symphony Presents RACHMANINOV RHAPSODY

ASO is joined by renowned soloist Sara Daneshpour with Rachmaninov’s romantic Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Strings take center stage with George Walker’s Lyric for Strings and Beethoven’s Quartet for Strings in C-sharp minor, expanded for full orchestra. The program also features Sibelius’ epic tone poem, Finlandia.
Virginia Children's Theatre Tackles Teen Suicide With APOLOGIES

Through the VCT4TEENS program, Virginia Children's Theatre aims to shed a light on this issue and offer strategies for prevention through the upcoming production of APOLOGIES. Public performances for APOLOGIES will be February 25-26, 2022. The production will be staged at the Fishburn Auditorium at North Cross School (4254 Colonial Ave). Apologies will be presented in partnership with Tudor House.
Virginia Stage Company Postpones CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF

Due to the ongoing challenges and concerns of the pandemic, Virginia Stage Company has decided to postpone Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, originally scheduled to run March 2 - 20, 2022.  The production will move to the fall of 2022 as part of Season 44.

The Seratones are set to support.  Tickets go on sale Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10:00 AM. A limited number of Early Bird General Admission tickets will be available for just $21 from January 21-27.
