Wayside Theatre Asks For Your Old Cellular Phones 7/18-8/14

By: Jul. 13, 2010

Bring your old cell phones to Wayside Theatre during the run of DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, July 18th through August 14th, and receive one complimentary voucher per phone to see a Thursday or Friday evening performance of STRIKING 12, August 28th through September 25th.

At the end of Dead Man's run, all of the phones we collect will be sent to ReCellular, Inc. to be refurbished. The proceeds will be equally distributed to Cell Phones for Soldiers, which provides pre-paid phone cards to our men and women in the military, and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, which provides phones and services to women's shelters in order help the fight against domestic violence.

Both Cell Phones for Soldiers and NCADV are partnering with ReCellular, Inc. in the collection of used cell phones. ReCellular is the world leader in electronics sustainability and is committed to recycling all electronic waste in order to protect the environment by refurbishing phones instead of sending them to land fills.

For more information about these organizations and their cell phone donation programs, visit their websites: Cell Phones for Soldiers: www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence www.ncadv.org/takeaction/donateaphone.php, ReCellular, Inc.: www.recellular.com or call Wayside Theatre at (540) 869-1776.

Wayside Theatre is the second oldest professional theatre in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and is celebrating its 49th season of presenting high quality, professional entertainment. Single tickets, subscription packages and group packages can be obtained by calling the box office at (540) 869-1776.

Additional information can be obtained on the theatre's website at www.waysidetheatre.org. Wayside Theatre is located in Middletown, Virginia on Route 11, Main Street, just north of the intersection of I-66 and I-81.
