Richmond Shakespeare presents A Christmas Carol for Two Actors.
Just two veteran actors create all the memorable characters in Dickens' beloved novel in a brisk, thoroughly entertaining and charming performance.
It's Ebenezer Scrooge's final chance for redemption, and your final chance to see Grant Mudge recreate the role in A Christmas Carol for Two Actors.
Mudge began performing the piece as holiday gift for family in the early 1990's, and 14 years ago adapted the piece for two actors with director of education Cynde Liffick. It has since become a holiday tradition for many Richmonders.Critics have referred to Mudge's performance as "masterful," the production itself "always fresh and magical," and "a vest-pocket tour-de-force."
This year, Liffick will rejoin Mudge for a mainstage run DECEMBER 15-17 and 22-24 at 8:00pm* in the Gottwald Playhouse at Richmond CenterStage. Tickets are available at RichmondCenterStage.com or by calling 800-514-eTix (3849).
*The December 17 and 24 performances also have 2:00 pm matinees.
