This production is directed by Michael Leeds, whose recent outings at the Stage Door include hits like last season's "A Little Night Music", and most recently, "Mack and Mabel".
Bach Festival Society Commissions New Work by Jaron Lanier 10/23-24

The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park in partnership with the Winter Park Institute, Rollins College, has commissioned internationally renowned computer scientist, author, and musician Jaron Lanier to write a new work for choir, orchestra, and vocal soloists. This work, Symphony for Amelia, will have its world premiere on October 23 and 24, 2010.

Legendary impressionist, Christopher Peterson brings his stage extravaganza 'EYECONS, Las Vegas or Bust' to the Waterfront Playhouse for three nights only, playing October 23, 24 and 25 at 8 pm. This official Fantasy Fest event will mark Christopher's final Key West appearances before relocating to Las Vegas. His all-live, no lip-sync show features hilarious parodies of all the great female stars, plus four dancers, over-the-top costumes and Vegas-style sets. The Waterfront, as one of Fantasy Fest's premier sponsors, is thrilled that Christopher chose the Playhouse as the venue for his Key West performing swan song.
Mummenschanz Brings Playful Theatre To Van Wezel Performing Arts Center

Legendary Swiss performance troupe Mummenschanz is coming to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center in Sarasota, FL for a performance at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd. The performance is part of the troupe's first U.S. tour since 2003. Tickets are $35-55 and the theatre is located at 777 N. Tamiami Trail. These exclusive, Alden Theatre performances will be Mummenschanz's only performance in the Florida region during this tour.

As previously announced, the season opens with bringing back the multiple Carbonnell winning Vices: A Love Story starring Holly Shunkey and choreographed by AC Ciulla, both Carbonnell winners. Vices...is the groundbreaking musical told primarily through dance and features pastiche style music incorporating modern rock, disco, operetta, and R&B.
