Golden Globe Winner Maxine Lapiduss Will Host Workshop at Girls' Club Gallery, 4/1

Broward Cultural Division, ArtServe and Creative Capital Professional Development Program, and The Girls' Club have collaborated to invite Golden Globe winner and Emmy-nominated TV writer and producer Maxine Lapiduss to Broward County for an encore presentation on 'branding.' Following the success of her first Broward workshop on the subject in the fall of 2013, the workshop, Authentic Branding Introduction, will take place on Tuesday, April 1, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at The Girls' Club Gallery, 117 NE 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is proud to announce its ninth season of showcasing Broadway's greatest hits in the Ziff Ballet Opera House with a five-show subscription package that is power-packed with musical blockbusters. The Broadway in Miami 2014-2015 season presented by Bank of America includes The Book of Mormon. From the creators of South Park and winner of nine Tony® Awards, The Book of Mormon will play a limited two-week engagement (December 2 - 14, 2014).

Last week, Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL welcomed Legally Blonde's Original Producer Hal Luftig to the school for a day of master classes with DSOA theatre students and a performance of DSOA's production of Legally Blonde. Luftig, winner of four Tony Awards and Producer of such Broadway hits as Kinky Boots, Evita, Legally Blonde, Movin' Out and Thoroughly Modern Millie, enlightened the young actors about the theatre business and will hopefully return in the future!
