Winners Announced for the 3rd Annual Young Voices Monologue Festival!
Florida Stage invites you to the Third Annual YOUNG VOICES MONOLOGUE FESTIVAL, Monday March 27th at 7:00 p.m. Join them as twelve up-and-coming theatre artists, selected from over four-hundred, share their artistic voice by performing their own work.The March event marks the third year for the county-wide call for student written monologues, with submissions exceeding 400 for 2006. The festival has become an important platform for middle school and high school students to share their insights, opinion, passions and fears. You will be surprised and moved by these talented young writers; burst with laughter and experience a few goose bumps as you catch a glimpse of these future theatre artists as they evolve.The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Florida Stage and is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Join them before the event at 6:30 p.m. for coffee and dessert generously donated by Starbucks!
