Orpheum to Screen OFFICE SPACE with Flair, 7/11

The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series, sponsored by Orion Federal Credit Union, will bring OFFICE SPACE to the Orpheum big screen on Friday, July 11th at 7:00 PM. Audiences are encouraged to arrive early and discover just how enjoyable office life can be by testing top-of-the-line furniture from APG Office Furnishings, who is sponsoring the film along with Gerber/Taylor Capital Advisors.

"APG's partnership with this showing of OFFICE SPACE is a perfect match," said Gayla Hobbs of APG Office Furnishings. "We are excited to show Orpheum moviegoers how a great office design can have a significant and positive impact on their daily experience in the workplace."

More flair! In addition to trying trendy office seating and desks, the first 100 patrons in the door will have the opportunity add to their flair collections by designing lapel buttons in the lobby prior to the film. Drink specials for this event will include a beer tasting, and costumes are encouraged. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

In the hit comedy OFFICE SPACE, Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) has had enough. He lives in a cookie-cutter apartment with paper-thin walls and IKEA furniture. Every day, he and his friends suffer endless indignities and humiliations in their soulless workspace from their soulless boss. Under hypnosis, however, everything has changed. With a new - and extremely relaxed - outlook on life, Peter just might climb the ladder of success without any effort whatsoever.

The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series is presented for a third year by Orion. The series runs through September 5th and includes a selection of films requested by Orpheum movie fans through the Orpheum Theatre's website and social media channels.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Packages of ten tickets are available for $50. Attractive packages are also available for Day Cares, Summer Camps, and employee outings.
