The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has announced the Grant Recipients for 2025. Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY) will receive $50,000 for the development and creation of the original play, Joseph Kekuku and the Voice of the Steel Guitar.

Released in 1954, ten years after D-Day, the movie White Christmas was a bonafide blockbuster. It was the first Paramount movie shot in the widescreen VistaVision format, and featured rich and vivid Technicolor, which the costumers and set designers used to their full advantage.
