About this studio
The Dance School is a community-funded 501(c)(3) non-profit in downtown Everett, Washington, at 2817 and 2821 Rockefeller Avenue. Its stated aim is to make dance accessible to everyone, welcoming dancers of all ages and abilities and offering programming for every level from complete beginner to experienced. Programs are grouped as Young Dancer for ages 1.5 to 6, Youth for ages 7 to 11, Teen for ages 12 to 18, adult classes and series, and BOMA adaptive dance. Tuition covers roughly 70 percent of operating costs, with the remainder from donations and grants; talent and need-based scholarships cover 50 to 100 percent of tuition.
