About this studio
Allegro Performing Arts Academy, established in 1996, is a dance school at 222 Central Ave S in Kent, Washington. Its 12,000 square foot facility contains six large dance rooms, two student lounges and its own parking lot, and studio space is also available to rent for rehearsals. Allegro teaches ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, acrobatic dance and hip hop across all ability levels from novice to advanced, with a brain-based 'Movers Groovers' program for children aged one to eight. Joining a team is not required, but the academy fields the Precision Dance Company and P.U.R.E. hip hop competition teams plus The Allegro Players for drama and musical theatre. It also runs a DanceAble program for students with special needs, Girl Scout badge classes, summer day camps, private lessons and holiday and June showcases.
