About this studio
Sizzling Latin is a ballroom and DanceSport studio at 1018C Almanor Ln, Lafayette, California, founded by Timea Potys, a professional DanceSport athlete and international champion who has competed in 78 cities and formerly head-coached the UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz dance teams. It teaches all ages and levels and no partner is required. Programs include a competitive kids and preteen DanceSport track for ages 4-18, adult classes for 18 and over, pro/am dancing, wedding first-dance lessons, quinceanera, cotillion and debut preparation, dating lessons, corporate retreats, a teacher training program and ballroom programs in schools. Weekly adult salsa and bachata group classes run Wednesday evenings, with drop-ins at $25.
