About this studio
3rd Street Dance is a Los Angeles social and ballroom dance studio at 8558 W. 3rd Street, operating since 1982. It teaches a broad partner- and street-dance curriculum including ballroom, salsa, bachata, cumbia, Argentine tango, kizomba and zouk, swing and Lindy Hop, hip hop, heels, Bollywood and belly dance, plus dance fitness, beginner classes, performance workshops and multi-week bootcamps. Group classes run at every level on a weekly schedule booked through Mindbody, and the studio offers private lessons, a kids and youth program, and preparation for wedding first dances, bar and bat mitzvahs and quinceaneras. Memberships, class packages and a new-student special are available, and the studio rents its floors and hosts regular socials.
