Alonzo King LINES Ballet is a contemporary ballet company, education organization and dance center at 26 Seventh Street in San Francisco, led by founder and choreographer Alonzo King. The company tours nationally and internationally with King's works and collaborates with orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony, while its education arm runs a BFA program and a pre-professional summer program ending in a public showcase. The LINES Dance Center hosts more than 75 classes a week and calls itself a destination for community dance education, welcoming all levels: it houses independently run classes taught by Bay Area teachers, and LINES offers open advanced/professional ballet classes for community members aged 16 and over, taken alongside company dancers Monday to Friday, in person or online.
