About this studio
The Dance Conservatory is a studio at 121 W Lawrence Ave in Charlotte, Michigan, across from the old courthouse, owned and operated by Brooke Pocan and Lisa Stiles. Its stated mission is to encourage students to reach their own potential as dancers, recognizing that the need for dance varies from person to person and working to enhance each student's artistic expression whether they take one class a week or six classes a day. To serve that range it runs both a strong recreational program and an intensive competitive program with its own competitive company. Class offerings include beginner ballet, jazz, beginner lyrical, adult tap and age-banded sampler classes for 5 to 7 and 8 to 10 year olds, plus a summer session.
