About this studio
Broadway Dance Co is a dance studio at 698 S. Lapeer Road in Lake Orion, Michigan, owned and artistically directed by Michelle Larnard. It was created for dancers who want to grow technically in the art form, and offers a broad curriculum of dance styles plus acrobatics for ages 2 through adult, with classes grouped for 5 and under, 6 to 9, and 10 and older, as well as adult classes. Styles taught include ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, funky jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. The studio is certified to deliver the Acrobatic Arts program, a blend of dance and gymnastics. An audition-based competition team is open to dancers aged 3 to 18, and the studio also runs summer classes and camps and an annual recital. Facilities include sprung dance floors, and the staff is college-educated.
