Adults and middle school students will have the opportunity to bolster their acting and improvisational abilities with Long Wharf Theatre's slate of Fall Studio School classes, beginning September 10.

These classes, taught by Director of Education Annie DiMartino and Education Program Manager Corey Morrison, will offers a firm basis for further study, while also providing performers concrete tools to take into their next performance.
ADULT ACTING I

SATURDAYS, SEPTEMBER 10-OCTOBER 8
10:30 AM-12:00 PM
COST: $225

Investigate your individual and authentic voice for acting. Using both Stanislavski and Anne Bogart's Viewpoint Technique we will physically delve into concepts of space and time, as it pertains to environment and our place in it. Focus will be given to monologues and audition technique. Participants should come dressed for movement and, ideally, with a prepared monologue.

OFF THE CUFF IMPROVISATION II: MIDDLE SCHOOL
Tuesdays, SEPTEMBER 13-OCTOBER 11
5:30 PM-7:00PM
COST: $195

Take your improvisational skills to the next level. Learn to listen, react and respond "off the cuff" using high energy, physical comedy and the simple art of telling a story. Ensemble games in focus, listening, and problem solving will strengthen your student's ability to think creatively while building confidence.
