BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Carissa Chesanek
Carissa Chesanek

Carissa Chesanek has worked as a journalist for many years, writing for publications that include BroadwayWorldShow-Score, All About Solo, The Rumpus, Miami Herald, and Forbes Travel Guide. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and is the co-host for the reading series Sunday Salon. She's dabbled in improv and acting and is currently on the hunt to place the first play she wrote.


Jared Reynolds
Jared Reynolds

Jared Reynolds is a New Hampshire native now living in Connecticut. A graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor's in Theater Arts, Jared explored as many facets of theater as he could. While primarily a playwright and actor, he also directs and has experience with lighting, dramaturgy, and set construction. As a writer, his short plays have received both virtual and staged productions, such as "Experiential Education" (Nelson Hall), and "E.Y.E." (Brookfield Theatre). Some of his acting credits include Favorite Son in "American Idiot" and Rosencrantz in "Hamlet" (Brookfield Theatre), Al Deluca in "A Chorus Line" (University of New Haven), and Robby in "Warmth of the Cold" (Nashua Theater Guild.)

Lauren is a theater producer (Gracewell Productions), a playwright (member of The Dramatists Guild of America) and a theater critic -- The Connecticut Arts Connection (http://ctarts.blogspot.com) and Reflections in the Light (http://reflectionsinthelight.blogspot.com). She formerly covered all of Connecticut theater for BroadwayWorld, Curtain Up and American Theater Web as well at the Journal Inquirer newspaper in Connecticut. She is a member of The Outer Critics Circle and Executive Producer of its annual awards dinner in New York.  She is a former voting member and Vice President of The Drama Desk. She is Co-Founder of the CT Chapter of The League of Professional Theatre Women.and a member of the Board of DIrectors in New York.

Sherry Shameer Cohen is an award winning parachute journalist, ad copywriter, and photographer who is always looking for more challenging work. Her work has appeared in Connecticut Magazine, Greenwich Magazine, Stamford Plus, Norwalk Plus, The Advocate, Greenwich Time, The Minuteman, Connecticut Jewish Ledger, The Jewish Chronicle, The Jewish Press, The New Jewish Voice, and various daytime magazines. She has stage managed, designed flyers, programs and props for community theatre and reviewed theatre for the Connecticut Jewish Ledger, Theater Inform, and New England Entertainment Digest. She lives in Connecticut with her three drama kings - husband, Ken and sons Alexander Seth Cohen and Jonathan Ross Cohen.
