Friends of the Drexel Launch DREXEL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

The Drexel Theatre introduces a new membership program this month, offering four affordable levels of support and benefits. The program is part of the ongoing efforts of the Friends of the Drexel, Inc. to secure and sustain the future of the historic theatre as a distinctive cultural asset to the central Ohio community.

“We are pleased to be getting this new membership program up and running,” said Richard Stoff, Chairman of Friends of the Drexel, Inc. “This gives the community an accessible way to help take care of the Drexel, and a way for the Drexel to take care of its most loyal supporters. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Proceeds from the membership program will support programming, community outreach, and educational endeavors of the Drexel Theatre while offering members exclusive, tax-deductible benefits and privileges.

Membership levels include:

Casablanca ($40/year)
For seniors (60+) and students with an active ID
$2 off senior or student general admission price on every Drexel visit for one year
Free small popcorn or small fountain drink (up to 12/year)
E-newsletter

Cinema Paradiso ($60/year)
$2 off general admission price on every Drexel visit for one year
Free small popcorn or small fountain drink (up to 12/year)
E-newsletter

Room with a View ($110/year)
$2 off general admission price for each member of the household on every Drexel visit for one year (maximum of four people)
Free small popcorn or small fountain drink (up to 12/year)
E-newsletter
Invitations to special screenings, events, etc.
Additional individuals can be added to this membership level for $20/person

Life is Beautiful ($250/year)
$2 off general admission price for each member of the household on every Drexel visit for one year (maximum of four people)
Free small popcorn (up to 12/year)
Free small fountain drink (up to 12/year)
E-newsletter
Invitations and preferred seating for special screenings, events, etc.
Four guest passes for free admission
Advance notice and discounts for exclusive Drexel events including Red Carpet, Midnight Movies, etc.
Additional individuals can be added to this membership level for $20/person

General admission is considered any screening after noon. Individuals can only be added to the top two membership levels—Room with a View and Life is Beautiful. Membership pricing cannot be combined with other discounts such as Monday Bargain Day.
