Cleveland Play House To Offer $5 Tickets To ODC Cardholders

Cleveland Play House (CPH) strives to be accessible to the entire Northeast Ohio community. In that spirit, CPH is proud to offer a special pricing to Ohio Direction Cardholders this holiday season: During the run of A Christmas Story, November 23 - December 23, Cardholders will receive $5 admission for up to 8 tickets. Tickets are available in person at the Playhouse Square Box Office; by calling 216.241.6000; or by visiting ClevelandPlayHouse.com (promo code ODC). There are no blackout dates and seating is best available at the time of purchase.

The Ohio Direction Card is offered by Ohio Job & Family Services to those who qualify for the supplemental nutrition assistance program, or SNAP benefits. The card offers a monthly stipend to provide monetary assistance to qualifying families for necessities such as groceries.

Tickets will be held at Will Call for pick up the day of the performance. Cardholders must present their Ohio Direction Card and valid State ID at the time of picking up the tickets. The Ohio Direction Card is for identification purposes only and cannot be accepted for payment. CPH accepts cash and all major credit cards.

"As a nonprofit organization, Cleveland Play House exists to serve people from all walks of life and backgrounds. We are hopeful that this accessible pricing program will bring joy to many families throughout Northeast Ohio this holiday season," said Kevin Moore, CPH Managing Director.

A Christmas Story is an annual holiday tradition for families of all generations. Previews begin November 23rd and the production, sponsored by Dollar Bank and Pinecrest, will run through December 23rd in the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square. Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of another CPH holiday tradition: the Festival of Trees. The Festival of Trees is presented by the K&D Group, and is also generously sponsored by Dominion Energy.
