In Paris' famed Pere LaChaise cemetery, on the grave of Edith Piaf, both will discover their destiny. - Touched (music by Matt Van Brink): A prudish midday talk show host turns to pornography to revive her failing career. Charlie Sohne is also the lyricist of Tina Girlstar (book by Anton Dudley, music by Brian Feinstein) and is a collaborator on New York Theatre Barn's original commission Speargrove Presents

The second set will be I Married Wyatt Earp - A presentation of the new musical, book by Sheilah Rae (Funny You Don't Look Like A Grandmother, Speargrove Presents) & Thomas Edward West (Enchanted Cottage), music by Michele Brourman (Working, Speargrove Presents), lyrics by Sheilah Rae. With a rousing, wide-ranging score that ranges from pop to country western to Victorian dance hall songs, I Married Wyatt Earp traces the true-life tale of Josephine Marcus, who escaped her stifling upper-class San Francisco Jewish family by bluffing her way into a Gilbert & Sullivan troupe en route to Tombstone, Arizona in the late 1800s.

Under the direction of Joe Barros (Producing Artistic Director) and Reed Prescott (Executive Director), New York Theatre Barn is a not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to the investigation, development, and advancement of new evocative works and strives to challenge the way new work is developed. Since its inception in 2007, NYTB introduced a monthly springboard event for emerging writers and performers (NYTB at The Duplex, NYTB in the D Lounge), presented concerts and staged readings (including the musical Big Fat Cat with Bruce Vilanch and I Married Wyatt Earp with Tovah Feldshuh, directed by Tony-nominee Graciela Daniele) and produced fully realized productions (including Wood at the NYMF with Tony Award winner Cady Huffman). Recent productions include the musical parody Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? at the Julia Miles Theatre and Bridget Bailey's one-woman play Child of Hungry Times, winner of Outstanding Production of a Solo Show (Planet Connections Theatre Festival). NYTB has grown into a vital force in the New York theatre scene where it has been a launching ground for challenging new work including Adam Gwon's Ordinary Days (which had a recent production at the Roundabout Theatre Company). New York Theatre Barn is a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre.
