Joe's Pub Announces Lilli Cooper, Ute Lemper in The Bukowski Project & More
Joe's Pub at The Public Theater debuted in October 1998 and has quickly became one of New York City's most celebrated and in-demand showcase venues for live music and performance. With its genre-blind booking and vast diversity of interests, the stage at Joe's Pub gives voice to a world of varied and stellar artists.
With impeccable sound and lights, the warm and intimate candlelit atmosphere of Joe's Pub is filled with plush velvet couches, softly glowing lucite tables and gorgeously understated architecture. Joe's Pub is open seven days a week, regularly hosting as many as three shows a day. Dinner and drink service is available during every performance; the venue offers a classic Italian dinner menu and a fully stocked bar.

Up Till Now is a collection of music from Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and many more. This concert is a culmination of music that has inspired these artists. Lilli Cooper, an Original Cast Member of Spring Awakening, spent a month this year Broadway in South Africa teaching in various townships. She is very excited to have her family joining her for this Debut Concert. Alex Cooper a self trained guitar player is consistently playing in venues across New York including The Metropolitan Room, Birdland, amongst many others. Eddie Cooper just recently finished performing with the Metropolis Opera Project. These born and bred New Yorker's are honored to make their debut concert at Joe's Pub.

Soul Kitchen tells the story of a soon-to-be-sold Bronx diner and its spicy staff. On their last day together they learn the truth about each other's dreams and the meaning of family. Imagine the 'Island of Misfit Toys meets Aretha'. Composer/Writer Michael V. Doane has assembled an explosive 5 piece band and company of 8 to make the story rock with soul.
NEAL MEDLYN WITH Kenny Mellman: THE BIG C

Neal Medlyn, who specializes in pop star extravaganzas and in anticipation of his coming Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus epic, presents an evening of sad and/or teenage songs for the people of America, culled from an iTunes playlist he made but then forgot what the "C" stands for. He's joined by Tony-nominated Kenny Mellman.
