iHeartRadio and Universal Broadcasting Network's "On The Rocks Radio Show host Alexander Rodriguez will be making his fourth return to Rockwell Table & Stage hit the stage on January 30th - with "Sippin On A Song" - a roller coaster of stories, audience participation, and guest performers, belted out by your host featuring music from stage, screen and pop.
Fasten your seat belts, full steam ahead, it's going to be a bumpy night! With his fast quips, a penchant for vodka and an eclectic taste in music, there is no telling where this evening will end. Special appearances by Katy Sullivan, Patrick Gomez, Michael Vega, Kasey Lansdale and Michael Ferrera.
"Sippin' On A Song" will feature music by Sondheim, Rod Stewart, Kander & Ebb, Stephen Trask, and Alan Menken.
This cabaret is the live stage version of Alexander's "On the Rocks with Alexander" -a weekly talk show covers everything under the sun from entertainment and current events, to gossip and backstage stories with their celebrity guests from stage, television, screen and reality TV.
"Sippin' On A Song" is directed by Michael Ferrera with musical direction by James Lent, with Stephan L Smith (Hollywood Bowl Orchestra) on violin.

A mix between Joan Rivers, Johnny Carson and Judy Garland, Alexander is an entertainer in every sense of the word. He is a singer, Master of Ceremonies, actor and host.
Favorite stage role continues to be Charlie Brown at the Roxy in Hollywood to critical acclaim. He has also performed at the Green Hills Memorial Park for over 5,000 guests for the 4th of July Celebration, hosted National MS Society's "Sky's the Limit" event, Upright Citizen's Brigade's Inner Sanctum, ESpot at Vitello's, Don't Tell Mama in LA and NY, Rage Nightclub, and comical appearances in the web series Unrepresentable and My Penance. A highlight along the way is the drive-a-thon he produced and performed in with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society, starting in Orange County with performances at hospitals throughout the United States, specifically for the pediatric. Alexander's sense of humor shines through in his cabaret shows, daily life, and his weekly show "On The Rocks" on iHeart & Universal Broadcasting Network (UBN) Radio, broadcast live from Sunset Gower Studios in the heart of Hollywood. He finished three great years with "Happy Hour with Ben & Alexander" with UBN and now continues on in his newest adventure, "On the Rocks". His interests are all encompassing including his love of old Hollywood, all things Broadway, reality shows, the best on TV, the up and coming talent in entertainment, and those secrets only he can coax from celebrities.
James Lent (Musical Director) Pianist Dr. James Lent is Lecturer and Coordinator of Instrumental Collaborative Piano at UCLA in addition to serving as a coach and accompanist for vocal studies. James completed his DMA at the Yale School of Music under teachers Boris Berman, Claude Frank, and Peter Frankl. He made his Alabama Symphony debut to critical acclaim performing Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 2 on 24 hours' notice to replace Andre Watts. He has performed with the Vancouver Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the Shanghai Philharmonic, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Utah Symphony and the Florida West Coast Symphony, among others, and as solo recitalist at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival in Germany, for the National Chopin Foundation in Miami, at Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where he premiered a new work written for him by American composer Frederic Rzewski. His numerous awards include prizes in the New York Concert Artists Guild International Competition, the National Chopin Competition, the Washington International Piano Competition at the Kennedy Center, the Olga Koussevitsky Piano Competition in New York, and the Houston Symphony Ima Hogg National Young Artist Competition.He was a fellowship recipient at the Aspen Music Festival, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, the Sarasota Music Festival, and the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, where he studied with Jerome Lowenthal. James also teaches at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) as collaborative pianist, vocal coach, and musical director. He has also served on the summer faculty at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara and the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
Michael Ferrera (Director) Michael Ferrera had an early career in entertainment, having acted in more than 30 stage production and directed four. He went on to work as an Associate Producer one the Sally Jessy Raphael Show and several other television shows. Michael travelled in the activist entertainment organization, Up With People, for two years performing in 15 countries and 30 states in the United States. He left entertainment several years ago to get his degree in clinical psychology and then founded the organization, LifeWorks, a mentoring and leadership development program for LGBT young people. He currently serves as Executive Director for the Foundation for the AIDS Monument.
