THE CAPITAL GRILLE Presents Wagyu and Wine to Delight Guests Now Through November 18

The Capital Grille has done it again! On the heels of their ever-popular "The Generous Pour" comes another fine wine lover's event, "Wagyu and Wine." This is a true celebration of the best craft burgers by Executive Chef Michael LaDuke perfectly paired with wines by the restaurant's Advance Sommelier, Brian Phillips. Don't miss it. Wagyu and Wine is served in the lounge and the special is available at all of The Capital Grille locations for $25 ($35 in Pennsylvania market) until November 18.

Guests can choose from three artisanal burgers that include the Caramelized Onion Wagyu Burger; a Wagyu Cheeseburger with Havarti and aged White Cheddar; and a Caprese-style Wagyu Burger with heirloom tomato, 15-year aged balsamic and fresh mozzarella. All of the burgers are accompanied with a serving of crispy French Fries.

Outstanding wine choices are available for pairing like the Col Solare 2014 (Red Mountain, Washington), a limited production New World Cabernet Sauvignon. Other selections include Old World and New World wines such as the Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva 2014 (Tuscany), an Old World Sangiovese, and the Antica Napa Valley 2014 (Atlas Peak, Napa Valley), a New World Cabernet Sauvignon.

We stopped by The Capital Grill location in the theatre district on West 51st Street on a Thursday evening to savor the delicious burgers and sip the exquisite wines. We were delighted by the Wagyu Cheeseburger paired with Antinori Antica, Atlas Peak. We also indulged in the Carmelized Onion Wagyu Burger paired with the limited production Antinori Col Solare.

Wagyu and Wine is made possible by the talents of the extraordinary team at The Capital Grille. Executive Chef, Michael LaDuke commented, "We sought to transform the classic burger by combining distinctive flavors and ingredients, such as heirloom tomatoes and Grand Cru Gruyère, to complement the indulgent Wagyu beef."

Advanced Sommelier, Brian Phillips remarked about the wines he selected. "These selections showcase the Antinori family's continued passion for producing some of the world's best wines in both the Old and New World. From the age-worthy Chianti to the innovative Antica and the limited production Col Solare, our guests will be welcomed by rich, elegant styles that perfectly heighten the flavors of this year's Wagyu burger offerings."

Wagyu and Wine, the elevated burger and wine pairing, is sure to please The Capital Grille guests. And for the price, we guarantee you won't get a better burger accompanied by fine wine anywhere else.

Whether it's a casual get together, a special event, family gathering, a formal dinner or business meeting, we have found that The Capital Grille is ideal for every occasion.
