Cangaco was the banditism phenomenon of Northeast Brazil in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This region of Brazil is known for its aridness and hard way of life, and in a form of 'social banditry' against the government, many men and women decided to become nomadic bandits, roaming the hinterlands seeking money, food and revenge. With text and lyrics by Newton Moreno, direction by Sergio Modena and musical direction by Fernanda Maia, the show is free inspired by testimonies of women involved in the Cangaco and exalts the female force. Tickets are free.

As ultimas apresentacões acontecem na sexta (12), as 20h, no sabado (13), as 16h e as 20h, e no domingo (14), as 19h. Em seguida, o musical segue em turne nas cidades de Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Florianopolis e Fortaleza. Com direcão geral de Renato Rocha e direcão musical e arranjos de Ze Ricardo, cantor e curador do palco Sunset no festival Rock in Rio, o espetaculo narra a trajetoria de jovens que buscam realizar seus sonhos profissionais e conquistar um grande papel em suas carreiras artisticas.

Billy Elliot o Musical is a musical based on the 2000 film Billy Elliot. The music is by Elton John, and the book and lyrics are by Lee Hall, who wrote the film's screenplay. The plot revolves around Billy, a motherless British boy who trades boxing gloves for ballet shoes. The story of his personal struggle and fulfillment are balanced against a counter-story of family and community strife caused by the 1984-85 UK miners' strike in County Durham, in North Eastern England. Hall's screenplay was inspired in part by A. J. Cronin's 1935 novel about a miners' strike, The Stars Look Down, to which the musical's opening song pays homage.

An exciting story of faith indicated for people of all religions, APARECIDA, by Walcyr Carrasco, and direction by Fernanda Chamma, will open at Teatro Bradesco on March 22. The show has original music and musical direction by Carlos Bauzys, original lyrics by Ricardo Severo, scenography by Richard Luiz, costumes by Fabio Namatame, light design by Cesar de Ramires, sound design by Gabriel D'Angelo and production by MPCult. With a cast of 33 artists and 12 musicians, 20 original songs, dozens of costumes and grandiose scenarios were created to tell the story of Nossa Senhora Aparecida (Our Lady of the Apparition, the patroness saint of Brazil), one of the greatest symbols of Brazilians' faith, and whose sanctuary receives more than 17 million followers a year.

The show rescues the mythical aura around the Frenetic Dancing'Days Discotheque, which was a milestone in the Brazilian night, especially the carioca, with only four months of operation, establishing fashion, behavior and celebrating freedom, when the country was in full military dictatorship.
