I thought we could compile the reviews here, as the other thread is extremely long.

Tomorrow is the big day.

Phone rings, door chimes, in comes Company! Winner of 4 Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival!
Tony and Grammy Award winner Katrina Lenk and Two-time Tony Award and two-time Grammy Award winner Patti LuPone (in the role that won her the Olivier) come back to Broadway in Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s groundbreaking musical comedy.
The vision of two-time Tony Award-winning director Marianne Elliott (War HorseThe Curious Incident of the Dog in the NighttimeAngels in America), this production ofCompany sheds revelatory light onto classic songs such as the acerbic “The Ladies Who Lunch” and the iconic “Being Alive.” Being married in 21st-Century New York has never been this fun. Let’s all drink to that!

After halting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Marianne Elliott’s gender-swapped version of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Company resumed previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre November 15. The show, which was originally slated to open on Sondheim's 90th birthday March 22, 2020, will now officially open December 9.

I'm nervous. I loved the show and especially Katrina so much. I want it to get raves.

Mostly raves / beautifully written tributes to Sondheim. Mixed notices for Lenk however.

Will be curious to see where reviews fall for Lenk's performance. She will definitely get a few raves amidst mixed notices ... what's important is who raves and who balks. I think the production itself is guaranteed to get raves. It's absolutely terrific.

Tonight, after 7pm, Company’s Facebook will be airing something live from the theater. I assume it’s the opening/title number!

Expecting mostly raves, but also curious on where critics fall for Katrina Lenk. I love that they changed the playbill cover to a photo of Stephen Sondheim too, does anyone happen to know if this is just for the opening or if it'll be that way for a bit?

The opening night Playbill is a black and white picture of Sondheim. Wow.

That picture of Sondheim gets me every time. What a beautiful tribute. I hope to see this production one day, and it makes me happy to know how much he loved it. May it have a long run and spark the light for a new generation of theatre lovers - just as the original did.

Whew.... one day at a time...

New York Theater's review is up.

“Company” is perfectly timed, sadly. Opening less than two weeks after the death of Stephen Sondheim at the age of 91, in a season delayed by more than a year and a half by the worldwide pandemic, this fourth Broadway revival of his 1970 musical couldn’t help but be emotional, thrilling, overwhelming.

It is also, as it turns out, sublimely entertaining.

Well, it's only about half of the actual opening number on their FB page.

NYTimes is negative.

Bobby is now Bobbie in this confusing, sour remake of the 1970 musical by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth.
