The two understudies that went on were Becca Kotte for the role of Dani Franco (Kelli Barrett) and Lindsay Brett Carothers went on for Tawney Truebody (normally Becca’s role)
Both did great.

I saw this last night and it was just embarrassingly bad. The cast is very talented, but the material is awful. Though I will say that a lot of the audience seemed to genuinely enjoy it and was laughing a lot. Also kudos to the two understudies that went on, especially the lead’s love interest. She had a great voice and did really well.
But yeah... pass on this show. I’m just thankful I had a comp.

Does anyone know when Ann Harada will be goin on for Christmas Eve in these anniversary performances? On their website they have special guests listed for certain days, but Ann is never on the lists. However, she’s in the press release and in an Instagram photo. She’s the one original cast member that I really care about seeing.
Perhaps they should workshop it more and maybe consider another production first. However, the London production does keep extending.

I knew about Alexandra. I was happy to see her back on stage last night and I hope her family is doing well.
I found out that Rachel is apparently sick. Hopefully she’ll feel better soon. I must say that her standby was great and had an amazing voice.
The show overall needs an act two makeover. The first act is really enjoyable and very funny. The second act is kind of a mess after Heaven is a Place on Earth.
Side note: Michelle Visage was there to see Peppermint!

You’re paying to see “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and have no claim to the original cast. Understudies happen and actors have every right to a Vacation.

I’d consider it 1 show. After all, it was considered one show in regards to The Tony Awards. And when you buy the script, it’s in one book.

When I rushed in Tuesday I got there at 8:00 and was the first in line. The next people got there around 8:40. Then it gradually built between 9:00-10:00 to about 25 people.

No Ethan Slater recognition is shocking to me. I wonder how this will bode toward his Tony campaigns.

Saw the show tonight and Katherine was wonderful. Her vocals were absolutely astounding and her acting didn’t disappoint at all! I was actually quite surprised with her acting.
The show is in good shape I hadn’t seen it since the original cast. Act two still seems to have structure issues though.
We did rush tickets, got there around 8:00 and was first in line. Orch J 9 - 13. Great seats.
