I've noticed Wednesdays are the best day to rush. 1.) It's a weekday and 2.) It's a two show day. So even 8:00/8:30 is a safe bet if you're also ok doing SRO.

I just scrolled through Twitter to see that Glenn did start on Sunday. It's just a slap in the face to him since the show's website has been advertising him starting tonight and he also isn't listed on the cast page while Cook AND Maldonado are still front and center on their website.

That's very odd because it clearly says May 8 - July 15. Kinky Boots is very active with their social media and anytime a name has joined the show, it's plastered all over their social media, including their first curtain call.

According to the show's website, Glenn is starting tonight and didn't start on Sunday like originally planned
Always thought it was weird for someone to join a show on a Sunday.

since the tour was scheduled to close on Aug. 28 originally, odds are a good chunk of the cast won't be doing the Papermill engagement. I'd love to see Bre Jackson as Celie and to have either Headley or Holiday return as Shug. Or hell, even Rema Webb as Shug. I'm sure we'll hear about casting likely by the end of June.

Checked their website and the tour is slated to close on Aug. 28 in Washington DC. Papermill probably need a last minute replacement to satisfy their subscribers. The tour will just move up north and close at Papermill.

I'm thinking A BRONX TALE, BEAUTIFUL, MARGARITAVILLE, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG and possibly SPONGEBOB (based on Tony Awards) might all be closing by Labor Day.

Two month stint. You have to wonder if the show will continue into the Fall without a name. Its grosses have been looking low this year.

I was looking through the cast bios and noticed most of the ensemble have a dance background and not really a musical theater background. I wonder if this goes to Broadway if it'll lean towards replacing some with some Broadway vets in the ensemble.

With only three revivals performing, I wonder if there will be time for MARGARITAVILLE and SUMMER to perform?
