This is false. Every single film in both the The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies had their effects finished either the night before or the day of their World Premieres."
I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, I am saying it is unusual. Also, for what it’s worth, I’m not sure about The Hobbit but all of the LOTR movies finished post

THIS close absolutely is unusual. They’ve had to cancel award screenings, couldn’t send out screeners, etc. because the film was so behind on schedule.

Obviously with the logistics of touring houses they can’t rely on it being easy for her to march up an aisle but I’m wondering how they decided to do this. Also...I guess maybe add a spoiler tag....thanks "
I’m on my phone and don’t know how to do a spoiler tag so

If you don’t mind me asking, how did they handle the orchestra during the Embassy Ball and Eliza’s....ending? Curious given the limitations of a proscenium stage vs the Beaumont"
I’m not sure what you mean by the orchestra during the Embassy Ball.

This is just as good as it was on Broadway. Acting is great and I’m impressed the set, including the revolving house is mainly intact.

Seeing the tour tonight on its last night in Syracuse. Very excited, loved this revival on Broadway.
I saw and enjoyed Beetlejuice and genuinely believe that Alex Brightman should have won the Tony last year. It’s a crappy situation and I feel for the cast and crew for sure.
But good lord, these kids are all over Twitter saying that The Music Man is going to bomb, won’t last eight months, etc. They clearly have no idea how Broadway works or how to look at a seating chart.

This is filmed so nicely. I wish more people gave this show a chance on Broadway. It’s unbelievably fun and Slater is just so damn good.

I thought it was one of the worst musicals I’ve seen in years. I can’t imagine it getting great reviews, but hey, I’ve been shocked before.
