I just got an email from A.R.T. saying (in part) -
Good afternoon,
We wanted you to be the first to know (before the general public) that Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus will be bringing Jagged Little Pill to Broadway this fall! The cast and creative team have been hard at work further developing the musical and we are thrilled to share this ground-breaking production with audiences on Broadway this year.”
I truly hope theyve used this time to rework the show because it was a total mess when I saw it.
If The Ferryman doesnt extend after its current end date I could see it taking the Jacobs.

They need to start by completely cutting the part of the son and focusing on the daughter (after the make her even a little bit likable) and her relationship with her mother and Joanne and the other dude she likes. Almost everything else in the show just doesnt work and feels like theyre trying to beat you over the head with social issues, one after the other after the other.

I agree about cutting down the son's part. Especially his songs. But I didn't mind the social issues. In fact, that's what the show is basically about. And the choreography and stagecraft are stunning, inventive and entertaining.

I guess it was a rumor that, in addition to not actually making sense, didn't have legs.
@@Mike Barrett "Possibly the Hayes for the fall?"
How would that work? The Hayes is a non-profit theatre that books limited run for profit shows. I would not think that the producers want to bring in a musical that must close after at most a few months and certainly before the Tonys.

Ohhhh thats right I forgot second stage was there now. The Jacobs does make sense then if The Ferryman doesn't extend, which I could see if To Kill A Mockingbird or another play take a lot of the awards. If not the Jacobs, not too sure. Maybe Brooks Atkinson if Waitress does close. We shall see! I think this show has potential so I'm excited to get the chance to see it!
Im with Jordan, the book needed to be overhauled. Its not that it was an issues show...it was that it was ALL the issues, ever.
Im excited for it, i think there is a great show there, if they can streamline it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Very happy about this. Seems like it's destin to take the Brooks. Hoping the necessary work is done to improve this.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I know Amber Ardolino from the ensemble of Head Over Heels was added, but I'm not sure who else was. Based on social media posts I think the cast will be the same as the lab.

I believe Sean Montgomery didn't participate (since he was doing the White Christmas tour). Hoping he comes back in for the Broadway production!
