Hi Mike, I think asking about approaching someone at previews is perfectly acceptable. We were referencing the bickering about the show that had nothing to do with the show or the previews themselves. As long

I got one for center mezz in November. Maybe try and book further out if you can.

My impression is that he spends a lot of time interacting with people and the audience about his work. To me, he comes across as someone who's very aware of his platform and willing to put it to good use.
As a German, I'm really surprised how much of an air of scandal this i

If you would like to talk about things other than the show's performances, you are welcome to start a new thread, but any other comments about that in here will be considered off-topic and deleted.
I know, sorry, its hard not to lol, but I am done. let him continually just post himself. As someone did mention though, lots of seats available this weekend. I did purchase my ticket but I have been hyped about this show for quite some time. During previews, has anyone ever approached the playwright before? I would love to speak to Mr O'Harris, but unsure of how inappropriate it is during previews when they're working. Obviously, I can judge a social situation or not and whether its
I believe its in person rush. I think its busy when it opens but a poster on here was able to grab a ticket right before curtain so you may be in luck if you arrive later.
Moving on, not sure why I engaged and not worth anyones time. Agreed, focus on Slave Play!!!! I went for a $39 seat in November. I got a seat on Wednesday, but just a heads up for anyone who hasn't gotten that $39 ticket yet, there weren't many available for a weekday performance. Buy while you can!! Tickets tend to sell more after opening, assuming strong reviews. Interested to see this play's trajectory.
The point is you criticize a show to death that you have never even seen, you are agesit and make fun of millennial and younger audiences who see shows, saying how they don't understand good theatre and this show must be bad because it has a younger audience. Its not about disagreement, you provide zero input to the conversation when you constantly attack a show you haven't even seen. So yes, its troll behavior. Why bother continuing and commenting on a show you hate so much that you
Ya, Im super thankful for this thread too. I have pretty severe PTSD with gunshots, and if I know about it beforehand I can prepare myself a bit, but when its unexpected it certainly triggers me a bit, although over the years I've been able to manage it better. But yes, whoever started this thread is genius! Simple idea for a thread but it really makes an impact for id assume a good chunk of people.

A copy of that issue is. "Can't get to the show because you live halfway across the country? Script available at the box office, have someone pick it up for you" isn't a very helpful suggestion."

Without spoiling plot, any shots in Slave Play?
Having never seen this, I personally am sure my first experience of Virginia Woolf is going to be a good one.
Also regarding theatre, I believe when it was originally announced it said it would be playing The Golden, as I recall myself and others on here joking they should just recall it "The Metcalf"

Right -- because that sort of thing could NEVER happen in this day and age."
Obviously it happens. And it's not funny. And this is a comedy, isn't it?
Im not sure of Cursed Child specifics either, I just know Potter merch anywhere sells like hotcakes. Ive never seen so many people buying merchandise at a show than I did this one. Granted, its a bit of a "larger" show than most on Broadway but still, I garner they have to be making something off of that. A big reason why the Wizarding World at Universal does so well is Merch sales, and not just park tickets. Park ticket
Not too familiar with the piece, is this more of a comedy I'm assuming? Or a dark comedy/dramedy at least? intrigued by the cast, either a home run or a missed opportunity I feel. Broderick is usually quite good ons stage, or at the least decent. Parker we'll have to wait and see on. Excited for this one!
Not sure how people feel, but what is everyones thoughts on recording curtain calls? I personally don't like it, but it seems as if theaters don't really care if you film or take pictures then? I find it so rude, its really the only time the performers are specifically looking for a reaction from an audience. If I was an Evan who just gave my ALL on stage only to see 5 or 6 cameras in the front recording my bow id be annoyed frankly. Seems as if there isn't an issue though, the 2
