Well, this sucks. Looks like only date that will work for me double-header is opening night. Yeah, like I'll get those tickets. Also, why don't they include information about AMEX cards eligible, etc.? Ugh.

$99 for each part seems more likely ... which given current prices is still a good deal.

What exactly is the Audience Rewards presale? Anyone have experience with that for other shows?

What's with the excessive amount of presales lately? It seems every show, concert or event I've been looking at recently has a list as long my arm of presales. How can anyone expect to actually get tickets on the public release date?

I feel like I used it’s successfully for another show, but I would like some more info too

For most concerts, presales are limited. Certain seats are set aside for each type of presale. Not sure if that's the same with theatre, but it would seem likely.

I'm not going to feel too sorry for you folks seeing a top-notch cast on Broadway for $99 each show - if that's the price. That's not too much more than the Berkeley Rep is charging for its Angels in America revival next year at around the same time.  The cheap seats are $70 per show for a cast I don't know.  (The expensive seats are cloae to $99.) The only bonus is that seeing both shows in a day looks easier. It's every Saturday.

Margo319, it's a great play and doesn't come around often for obvious reasons. I am very curious to see it again, even if I don't know who I will be getting yet.

I actually think this is a way better schedule than in London.  April, May, and June are mostly marathons- both parts every Wed, Sat, and Sun, and then Part 1 every Thu and Part 2 every Fri.  When I saw it in London, I was visiting for a week and the only day they had a marathon was on Tuesday, and every other performance was Part 1 that week.  And there were no performances on the weekend b/c that stage actually had another play in rep.  So yeah, March weirdness aside, this schedule is way better.

I wonder what will be cut - design/direction wise.

I agree that the schedule seems to make sense, given that you have to buy a ticket to both parts at set times.

I didn't look that thoroughly, but it appears that, for the Sunday performances, you actually buy a ticket that lets you see the show on successive Sundays (rather than the marathon Wednesdays and Saturdays).

I couldn't agree with you more. He almost seemed to be mimicking Patrick Wilson's performance beat for beat.

Okay, so I'm looking at the tickets. It seems that these bundles guarantee you the same seat at both performances for one price. Rear mezz is $99, but that seems to be the back row.

Kad is correct.

The $99 seats are clearly the fastest to be going.

I was reading ticket prices as $398 - $99 per part.   My mistake.  It's $398 - $99 for the same seat for both parts.   Got front mezz at $318++ for early May.

It's not per part- it's for both shows.

Getting the "sorry, there was an error with your search" for every single day I try.

I hate not being able to see more than one seat option at a time, but I guess I should've just picked one right at 10. No dates working for me.

F*CK not being able to pick your seats. I'm really tall and can't do 8 hours of play in the middle of a row.

It's working for me on my phone, but not on my desktop.

I hate Ticketmaster.

Type in www1. for the start of the web address and you should be able to choose your own seats.

Sadly, I have no Amex for presale...just hoping all the tickets aren't gone by the time I can finally purchase.

The Neil Simon is a huge space for a play... even one of this size. $99 tickets are the last three rows. I really don't want to be sitting so far away.

Where do people get all this money to see theater?? Investment banking? I thought investment bankers did too much coke to afford theater.

Well, that took longer than it should've, but I grabbed a front mezz ticket for the 3/10 marathon.

Thanks! That worked, but now I keep getting "sorry can't process your request" after I put tickets in my basket.

Man, wish I had known this before I bought tickets. I ended up very close to an aisle, but not on an aisle.

The site errored out once for me. but I did get $99 tickets in the last row of the mezz for 4/28 (which were really $120 with fees). Obviously I would like better seats, but beggars can't be choosers. Seems like they are resellable if I can't make that date, which I picked at near random, so that's good anyway. It's really hard to know exactly what I am going to be doing in six months.
